welcome to Kelso Custom Covers
This is Rosemarie Kelso with Kelso Custom Covers. We’re celebrating our 30th year in business in 2024. We’ve been in the business of designing specialized containers for Irish Dance costumes for a long time, and I want you to know that my team and I can assist with your Irish Dance bag needs! We started out with a small idea, doing everything by hand, and creating new custom products based on the specialized  needs of the Irish Dance community. Over the years we’ve blossomed and grown into the premier provider of Irish dance gear in the country. All of our bags and covers are still proudly made in the U.S.A., ensuring top quality.
Pioneering Travel Bags for Irish Dancers
We invented the Kelso Travel Wedge ®. Available in four sizes and eleven different colors, the Kelso Travel Wedge ® is padded and surrounded by two inches of plastic that gives you the utmost in protection when you traveling with your dress. Constructed with durable, waterproof 600-denier nylon fabric, the Kelso Travel Wedge ® has double dowel rods with a liner between which separates and protects two dresses. A large outside zippered pocket can fit everything from shoes to dance accessories. In addition to the Travel Wedge, we also carry lightweight garment bags, straight bags, shoe bags, duffle bags, sling backpacks and more – all in matching fabrics!
In-house embroidery
We do all our own in-house embroidery. We can assist in customizing a wide variety of items. School owners/directors: send us your school logo to create your very own team bags! We do not charge a set-up fee, and the cost of the embroidery will depend on the stitch count. If you are in need of a specialized bag or cover that you have not been able to find elsewhere, we are your goto partner! Our team is always looking for new bags and covers to create. So go ahead, tell us what you need, and we will try to assist you in creating it! After all, it was a small idea that started this grassroots business 30 years ago.
